|Age||Late 20's, presumably 29|
|Occupation||Leader of T.H.E.M; Scientist and Inventor.|
|Voiced By||Kate Harbour|
Doctor Doctor is the show's primary antagonist. She always tries to destroy U.Z.Z and rule the world but always fails.
Being the main villain of the Secret Show, she has devised many schemes to attempt (and ultimately fail) at ruling the world; her plans being the plot-point in many episodes of the cartoon. Doctor Doctor had founded and currently runs a rival organization called The Horrible Evil Menace, it's acronym (T.H.E.M.) always referred to over the full name. The members that she hires are often referred to as Expendables.
Her focus as the 'bad guy' is to destroy U.Z.Z and take over the position of World Leader, though her motives for this are unknown. Her dastardly deeds have gone from plain greed (stealing all of the world's money) to attempted murder of Victor Volt and Anita Knight (via stranding them on the Sun). Her crimes and their severity go both those extremes and many shades in-between; causing the most grief for U.Z.Z and it's agents in comparison to any other villain they've faced.
Not much of Doctor Doctor's past is known. From the information gathered on the show, Doctor Doctor had attended The School for the Chronically gifted; along with Professor Professor as her fellow classmate. There was even an episode focused around a project (The Attack of the Killer Toothbrush) that she and Professor Professor had worked on. In said episode, it's heavily implied that her 'beautiful creation' was what ruined her teeth. Once she had graduated, it's unknown as to when she founded T.H.E.M and how long she's been a villain. There are no implications to support any theories, as it's treated like a minor detail that was never explored in the show.
Physical Appearance Edit
Doctor Doctor, unlike the rest of the cast, has blue tinted skin; whether or not this is natural was never stated. Her infamous teeth (which was revealed to be at the hands of one of her experiments) are rotted to the core, so much so that they wiggle every time she speaks above a whisper. She also seems to share Professor Professor's poor eye-sight; always wearing purple-rimmed glasses to correct her vision.
Her dark-blue hair (which also may or may not be real) has a white strip flowing down both sides, having it styled in a cone shape. This hairstyle seems to serve a purpose, as it hides an automated laser gun and propeller (which has the capacity to lift her body-weight and provides temporary flight). Her daily wear consists of a black-latex jumpsuit, a white body-length jacket, and purple stilettos.
Like many stereotypical cartoon villains, Doctor Doctor could be viewed as many things. She's often viewed as cruel, selfish, impatient, obnoxious with slight bits of insanity all rolled into one. Her plans are considerably dumb... but for the aesthetic of this cartoon, they actually seem sensible. Her plans often fail due to a mixture of several things;
- Bad Luck
- Poor Planning/Execution (though this is, bizarrely, a more rare occurrence)
- Coincidences that benefit Anita and Victor during their scrabbles
- Anita and Victor showing competence as secret Agents.
Due to these common occurrences, she's often portrayed like a child; laughing maniacally when he sees victory in sights (with excessive amounts of gloating), but nearly throwing a temper tantrum when they fail/blow up in her face. The few appearances she makes that don't involve these actions show that she's got a sense of humor, and can have civil (yet sometimes taunting) conversations when the situation allots it.
Despite her superiority complex and her large list of failures, she's not without her strengths. In comparison to U.Z.Z's leader, Changed Daily, she could be considered more responsible as well as active with her organization. Although Changed Daily had done many years of fieldwork, he was both NOT a leader while in the field (that could be safely assumed due to the current dynamic that they have in the show) and AS a leader, does not do any fieldwork. Although it could be argued that he has far more experience (with which he more than likely does), she has piled on responsibilities that rival both Professor Professor and U.Z.Z's leader combined. Essentially, she's a field agent, scientist, and leader on a consistent basis.
Due to this circumstance, she's displayed several enormous talents. Her high intellect (due to being born Chronically Gifted) easily rivals that of Professor Professor, her base as well as her sky bikes are just a few of the many inventions that's been shown; if it's safely assumed that she had built them all. She also seems to have a physical prowess when it comes to field-work, often confronting Victor and Anita herself and actively going out of her way to make sure her plans succeed. As for her leadership, the loyalty that the Expendables express (and in several episodes open admiration) are proof enough that said leadership is competent enough to keep T.H.E.M. rallied, despite her many downfalls.
As for her relationships with the other characters, it borders between annoyance and hatred. There are many moments that display her abhorrence for both Victor and Anita, as they consistently stop her potential rule. However, she is shown bantering with them in a humorous manner, which may indicate that she may only see them as a mere hindrance. With the exception of Professor Professor, her interactions with the other notable characters are unknown.
The relationship between Professor Professor and Doctor Doctor is normally up for debate between the fans of the show; on one hand, they've shown clear animosity towards each other and their inventions whenever they interact. When they speak, it's either to berate or mock each other for whatever reason is given. Yet, there have been several hints dropped in the show (and The Secret Show website) that they were a couple at some point in their past. When questioned, Professor Professor strictly denies the accusation, though this is never directly addressed in the cartoon. Whether or not Doctor Doctor would deny the same accusation or relatively cares for it is unknown (though with knowledge of the character, it's likely that she would to save face). Anything past the small hints and links to their past have no indication for any romantic relationships in their current timeline, and is often more of a discussion for the fans; rather than an aspect of Doctor Doctor herself.
